Behind the banter of our sales pitch, under the hood, there is serious intent. The Shameless team is determined not only to source the best possible materials for the films it publishes, but also the closest possible version to the director's original — or preferred — vision. Ruggero Deodato re-edited his only ever cut of Cannibal Holocaust for us; Corrado Farina restored eight lost minutes into his Baba Yaga redux for the first time ever.
They called these films a danger to public morals. We call them the good stuff.
Most Shameless releases feature interviews with the filmmakers, cast, crew or renowned genre experts — fascinating insights straight from the people who made these films.
Shameless unashamedly uses the colour yellow in homage to the original Italian ‘giallo’ pulp-fiction covers. We source the best surviving elements, restore them, and release them region-free in packaging built to break design barriers — exactly as the films were made, uncut and unrepentant.
